Lincoln University College, Malaysia organizing the 1st International Conference on Emerging Trends in Management, Technology, Social and Health Sciences (ICETMTSHS, 2024).
The basic idea behind the conference is to make a platform for distinguished dignitaries to exchange new ideas and apply hands-on experiences to build new relationships in research. There is also a scope for future collaborations along with global partners. Building up a strong relationship between industry and academia is also one of the key factors. At the same time, the conference will help to bridge the gap between Life Scientists, Social Scientists, Educators, Educationists, Engineers, IT & Computer Scientists, Nurses, Medical Professionals, Microbiologists, Pharmaceutical Scientists, Physicians, and other delegates.
The main focus of the conference is on the latest and most exciting findings in the following areas:
Technological Advancement in Management.
Technology and Society: Impact and Implications
Contemporary Practices in Social Sciences
Innovations in Health Sciences: Research and Practices
The 1st International Conference on Emerging Trends in Management, Technology, Social and Health Sciences was held on the 23rd & 24th of January 2024 at Summit Hotel Subang USJ, Malaysia. The Conference was organized by Lincoln University College, Malaysia in collaboration with STIKES SUKABUMI, Indonesia and STIKES RAFLESIA – Indonesia.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by our meticulous Pro-Chancellor, Datuk Dr. Hji. Bibi Florina Abdullah, our versatile President, Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, our respected Vice Chancellor & CEO, Dato (Amb) Dr. Mohd Yusoff Bin A. Bakar, the Convener & Chairlady for ICETMTSHS-2024, Prof. Datin Dr. Hafizah Che Hassan, Deputy Vice-chancellor for Research, Prof. Dr. Sandeep Poddar, several guests including Dr. Lv WenWei, Deans of various Faculties, Staff and students of Lincoln University College.
Following the recitation of dua’a by Associate Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin Inamdar, the Malaysian National Anthem (Negaraku), the Indonesian National Anthem, and a Welcome Performance from Lincoln Students from the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Datin Dr. Hafizah Che Hassan, the Convener, ICETMTSHS-2024 and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Lincoln University College, Malaysia delivered her welcome address followed by the inauguration talk by Datuk Dr. Hjh. Bibi Florina Abdullah Chancellor, Lincoln University College. This was followed by a welcome note from our Collaborators delivered by Dr. Rosliana Dewi, Assistant Professor IV & STIKES SUKABUMI – Indonesia and Dr. Benny Novico Zani, Head of Yayasan Raflesia Depok,
STIKES Raflesia – Indonesia.
Dr. Lv WenWei also delivered his speech and the keynote address was delivered by the President, Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik. The Lead Paper Presenters were Dr. Rosliana Dewi, Dr. Benny Novico Zani, and Prof. Dr. Goh Bey Hing, the Head of Biofunctional Molecules Discovery Research (SBMDC), School of Medical & Life Sciences, Sunway University.
Scholars and presenters at the conferences came from China, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Nigeria, India, and Malaysia and were in four categories; 45 from Management and Accountancy, 31 from Engineering and IT, 50 from Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and 49 from Health Sciences, making a total of 175 presentations.
The closing ceremony was attended by the President, Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, the Vice Chancellor & CEO, Dato (Amb) Dr. Mohd Yusoff Bin A. Bakar, the Convener & Chairlady for ICETMTSHS-2024, Prof. Datin Dr. Hafizah Che Hassan, Deputy Vice-chancellor for Research, Deans of various Faculties, Staff and students of Lincoln University College and other participants. The closing ceremony included several performances from Lincoln Students from the Faculty of Nursing, and some participants from China and Indonesia.
The ceremony was concluded with the presentation of certificates to all the participants and the best presenter awards from the various categories. Dr. Munalizaini Mukhtar (Malaysian) from Universiti Sains Malaysia got the award from the Health Science Category, Mr. Balogun Barnabas Friday (Nigerian) received the award from the Management category, Mr. Muhammad Haseeb (Bangladeshi) got the award from the Engineering & IT Category while Cheng Le (Chinese) received the award for the Social Science category. Two other participants, Du Shuguang and Zhang Lei received the consolation prizes.
ICETMTSHS2024 recorded a huge success.
