Prof. Datuk Dr. Hajjah Bibi Florina Abdullah

Prof. Datuk Dr. Hjh. Bibi Florina Binti Abdullah, the Pro-Chancellor of Lincoln University College, was the First Director of Nursing, Ministry of Health, Malaysia. She has also served as the Registrar of Nursing Board, Malaysia and has the greatest passion in changing the whole face of the nursing profession. She was instrumental in professionalized nursing as a profession from the diploma to the degree level. Undoubtedly, her passion in nursing field has been continually transformed to Lincoln University College.

Dr. Amiya Bhaumik

Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, Founder & President, Lincoln University College, Malaysia, is primarily from the field of Education. He has been an Executive Vice President of the International Education Consulting Group in St. Louis, USA, since 1999. Additionally, Dr. Bhaumik was a Research Fellow at UNESCO in Paris. During this tenure, he extensively travelled to Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America. He has also served as a Professor of Business Administration at the University of Lucknow, India, the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and several other countries.

Dato (Amb) Dr. Mohd Yusoff Bin A. Bakar

Dato (Amb) Dr. Mohd Yusoff Bin A. Bakar is the Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer Lincoln University College, Malaysia. He is also Deputy CEO of the Euroskil Vocational Trainince Academy (ETVA) from 2018 till date. He was the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student Affairs) of Lincoln University College from 2014 for more than 6 years. He was the Ambassador in Ministry of foreign in 1981 till 2001. Dato Yusoff has been associated with the Ministry since 1975 in various countries. He has volunteered as Chairman of The Board an international charity organization from 2009 associated with Disaster and Humanitarian Relief Cause. In 2014 he was the Chairman of IBF Network Sdn.Bhd. In 2014 he was the Member of the Board of Directors of the Guidance Citizens Cooperation. In 2016 Chairman of Guidance Citizens Cooperation. Over the years Dato (Amb) Dr. Mohd Yusoff Bin A. Bakar has shown professional working proficiency with upright Leadership skills and administrative expertise.

Prof. Datin Dr. Hafizah Che Hassan

Prof. Datin Dr. Hafizah graduated as a registered nurse from College of Nursing, Penang in 1974. Prof. Datin Dr. Hafizah predominantly worked as a renal nurse where she specialized in Renal and Urology with a Certificate of Renal Nursing from the Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, Australia in 1987. Datin Dr. Hafizah has been working as an educator for 32 years. She obtained her Certificate of Advanced Diploma in Teaching from University of Malaya in the year 1982. In year 1993, Datin Dr. Hafizah obtained her BSc Nursing from University of Sydney, Australia. Datin Dr. Hafizah completed her Master of Education in the year 2000 from University of Malaya. Datin Dr. Hafizah completed her PhD in Health Sciences from Lincoln University in the year of 2017. Prof. Datin Dr. Hafizah has extensive experience in both undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education, and the development and improvement of curriculum in nursing education. Datin Dr. Hafizah has been actively involved as a program and curriculum auditor for Malaysian Nursing Board and Malaysian Qualifications Agency.

Dr. Ir. Andri Yan Prima Zani MM., M. KM

Dr. Ir. Andri Yan Prima Zani, MM,. M. KM is the Chairman of STIKES Raflesia Depok. He had a degree in Civil Engineering from ISTN, a master’s in FKM management from Universtas Indonesia IPWIJA and Ph.D. in Management Science from Universitas Brawijaya. Dr. Andri has attended several international and local conferences to share knowledge. He has also published several research articles in the Journal of Research in Business, Economics, and Education, Promotion and Behavior, ARKESMAS, Indonesian Journal of Health, and Journal of Health.

Dr. Iwan Permana, SKM, S.Kep., M.Kep

H. Iwan Permana, SKM, S.Kep., M.Kep., Ph.D. is the Chairman of STIKES SAKABUMI – Indonesia. He had a Diploma in Nursing from AKPER A. Yani, Cimahi, a Bachelor of Public Health from University Respati Indonesia, a Bachelor of Nursing from STIKes Bhakti Kencana, a Master of Nursing from the University of Padjadjaran, and a Doctoral of Nursing from Lincoln University Malaysia. Dr. Iwan Permana has attended several international and local conferences to share knowledge. He has also published several research articles and held several positions locally and nationally.

Prof. Dr. Santhna Letchmi Panduragan

Prof. Dr. Santhna Letchmi Panduragan was formerly from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia where she was much involved as a lecturer and a research supervisor for both Nursing and Medical students. She was also sent to review the nursing curriculum in Sa’naah, Yemen. She is also a life member of the MAEMHS society Malaysia. She was also involved in the personal and Professional training of the Medical students in University Kebangsaan Malaysia. She attained her Masters from Monash University, Australia and Her PhD was in Community Education and Development from University Putra Malaysia. Her expertise is in qualitative research. She is also a consultant for the KDU college Penang and at present is with Lincoln University College for the past 4 years. She is much involved as a lecturer and as a research supervisor for both Masters and PhD students.

Prof. Dr. Zarina Awang

Prof. Dr. Zarina Awang completed MD from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in August 1986, Master M.Ed. (Anaesthesia) from UKM in April 1994, M.Sc. in Health Care Management from the University of Wales, Swansea, United Kingdom in July 2001. She is a Lecturer in Pharmacology and Therapeutics in Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia. She is also serving as a Lecturer and Instructor Trainer for Basic Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life Support, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) courses programme for Dental and Medical students at LUC. Dr. Awang’s clinical responsibilities include Managing Director cum Resident Anaesthesiologist at Kumpulan Perubatan Zazali Sdn Bhd, General Practitioner and Manager at Poliklinik Zazali, Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur, Visiting Anaesthesiologist Specialist at Hospital Maternity Naluri, Kuala Lumpur. She has a specialty in teaching in the fields of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, CPR, ACLS, PALS, Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics.

Prof. Dr. Zulkarnain A. Hatta

Prof. Dr. Zulkarnain A. Hatta is professor in Social Work with 37 years of experience in academic life, and presently works at Lincoln University College in Malaysia. Prior to joining Lincoln University College, he served at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He received his Doctor of Social Work in 2003 from Howard University, USA. He has been a Board member of the Asian and Pacific Association for Social Work Education (APASWE) since 2006, and in 2017 was elected as the President. He was also one of the Vice-Presidents of the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) from 2017-2021, a visiting lecturer at the Shukutoku University, Japan, visiting professor of Japan College of Social Work, a visiting scholar at Bandung College of Social Welfare, Indonesia, and consultant for the OECD Korea Policy center, South Korea. Presently, he is the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities at Lincoln University College.

Dato’ Ir Jamaludin Bin

Dato’ Ir Jamaludin Bin Non graduated from the University of Queensland Australia in 1982 and was immediately employed by MARA as Pegawai Technical in the Institute of Kemahiran (skilled) MARA. Realising that it was too early to be involved in an Administrative desk job, he joined PROMET Construction to build the 36-storey PROMET building in Jalan Sultan Ismail, K.L. There he gained hands-on experiences in steel and concrete high-rise construction and site management. All aspects of construction knowledge were introduced and applied. Upon completion of the building in 1984, he joined a company specializing in IBS Concrete panels and fabrication for the Housing Scheme in Port Klang. During his working days in Ingeback, he realized the importance of planning, scheduling and installation techniques for the completion of 1,100 units of apartments. Other factors were learned and applied such as cost control, logistics, technical details and management. The country was into recession in 1985 and Dato Ir. Jamaludin decided to start his own construction business in 1986 when jobs were scare and competition was high. This hardship was part of training to face challenges and trials to be better.

Seri Siantan Sdn Bhd. was established in 1986 and the first significant job was a subconstructing work at Pulau Ketam in 1988. It was building a small klinik (RM 1.5 million) off the coast of Port Kelang, 40 minutes boat ride. Although the challenges were mean it was determination and hard work that led to its completion in 1990.

Over the years, Seri Siantan Sdn Bhd has managed to complete various projects totaling over 500 million. There were ups and downs and numerous court cases but was able to withstand the onslaught and predicaments through hard work, tenacity and willpower to achieve its goal and success. It is hoped that many more challenges will be faced and Seri Siantan Sdn Bhd will no doubt maintain its strength and business principles through its vast experiences.

Prof Dr Abhijit Ghosh

Prof. Dr. Abhijit Ghosh is a member of the World Cultural Tourism Association as well as the Australian Institute of Management. Prior to joining Lincoln University College, Malaysia as the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Dr Ghosh, worked for Southern Cross University, Perth Campus, Australia as a Program Coordinator and Lecturer. He spent more than 5 years with the west Coast Institute of Management and Technology, Perth as a Lecturer and the Australian Institute of Export for their Graduate Diploma course, teaching and interacting with mature and working adults and international students. Dr Ghosh’s qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Management, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Graduate Diploma of Business (Management Studies), a Master of Commerce (Accountancy) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours in Accountancy).

Nisha Nambiar

Nisha Nambiar, PhD., Associate Professor. Graduated with a Bachelor in Science (Hons) majoring in Biology from Universiti Putra Malaysia, was offered fellowship to continue with her PhD studies. Her interest in the field of Biotechnology made her pursue her PhD in the field of Plant Biotechnology, in which she has been awarded many awards both locally and internationally for her successful research findings in the field of horticulture. She strongly believes that in order to be successful one must continue to widen his perspective and expand the knowledge one possesses in various fields. Currently, holding a position as the Dean for the Faculty of Applied Science, Nisha Nambiar is responsible in managing various departments and programs that are related to Applied Sciences.

Professor Dr Goh Bey Hing

Professor Dr Goh Bey Hing leads the Sunway Biofunctional Molecules Discovery Centre (SBMDC), School of Medical & Life Sciences. His research focuses on functionality of natural products from herbs, microbes and algae. He uniquely applies his pharmacology and chemistry expertise in novel, practical ways across diverse fields including nutraceuticals, nutrition, aquaculture, and clinical science. Dr Goh also excels at education, having received awards for teaching innovations. His overall dedication to biology, his contributions to research and education, as well as to the community and policy making were recognized through being selected as one of Top Ten Outstanding Young Malaysian in 2020 & as one of the Top Research Scientists Malaysia by Academy Sciences Malaysia in year 2023. In addition, he is the first Malaysian to be appointed to the Advisory Board of the International Natural Product Sciences Taskforce and served as Insight Board Member of International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) for natural health products in year 2023.

Professor Long Chiau Ming

Professor/ Associate Dean (Research), School of Medical and Life Sciences, Sunway University

Prof. Long Ming is a researcher-cum-academic with diverse training and exposure in countries including Australia, Malaysia, England and Brunei Darussalam. He graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) and a Master of Clinical Pharmacy from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2005 and 2009 respectively. He worked as a clinical pharmacist managing antimicrobial stewardship before pursuing his PhD at the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, University of Bath, England. He has continued to work in academia after his PhD with a research focus on the prevention and management of chronic disease, medication safety and clinical medicine. He has a keen interest in research related to antimicrobial use and antimicrobial stewardship, with multiple related publications and grants awarded.
He is actively engaging with industry, supervising postgraduate students, and publishing journal articles. He was formerly a full faculty member at the University of Tasmania, Australia and later PAPRSB Institute of Health Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. He currently serves as the Associate Dean at the School of Medical and Life Sciences, Sunway University.
He was also appointed as the Board Editor of Sarawak Journal of Pharmacy and Malaysian Journal of Pharmacy; Associate Editor of BMC Health Services Research and Frontiers in Pharmacology.
